I am passionate about the work I do and fully committed to helping the clients I serve. I consider it a privilege to join you on your journey toward wholeness and healing.
I practice a type of mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). If you're not living the life you desire...perhaps you're unhappy, struggling with unhelpful thoughts, or just feeling 'stuck'...my approach might be a good fit for you.
My counseling style is warm, open, and interactive. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel both accepted and understood.
I hold a Master of Science in Community Counseling and a PhD in Counselor Education with specialized clinical training in spiritual and pastoral integration. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I am a huge advocate for affordable mental health care and utilize an income based sliding fee scale.
